Acquisitions Paraprofessional | | | Catholic Law School Library is accepting applications for the position of Acquisitions Paraprofessional. | | | Responsibilities: The Acquisitions Paraprofessional will process invoices and orders, contact book vendors to
resolve problems, evaluate vendor performance and coordinate
procedural changes, process cancellations as needed, communicate with
the Director regarding problem titles, work in concert with the Director
to coordinate the flow of materials, generate order records using
integrated library system and assist in day-to-day and long range
planning and management of the Library Acquisitions. Additional duties
include ordering and tracking inventory for library supplies. | | | Required: Candidates should have background and experience working in the book
trade, the acquisitions department in an academic setting or as an office
bookkeeper. Library related work experience is required. Experience
with an integrated library system or a database management system is
preferred. This position will be permanently located at the Naples,
Florida campus with initial training to be completed at the Ann Arbor,
Michigan campus. Applicants must be willing to approach role and tasks

Law and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. | | | | Preferred: The ideal candidate will be able to manage a fast-paced, detail-oriented
workflow and possess excellent verbal and written communications
skills, the ability to work effectively with all levels of library staff,
demonstrated ability to carry out detail-oriented procedures with a high
degree of accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency and be able to contribute
