Mary Alice Baish
Mary Alice Baish serves as Director of the Government Relations Office of AALL, where she has worked since February 1995. She has held positions as documents librarian at the American University Library and at Seton Hall University Law Library. She received a B.A. in French from St. Josephs College in Maryland, an M.A. in Foreign Language Education from SUNY Buffalo,
and an M.L.S. from Rutgers University.
Baish promotes AALL's information policy agenda by drafting formal letters, congressional testimony, and position papers on a wide range of federal and state issues. She represents the Association on the Hill, and with various Federal agencies, issues-based coalitions, and other allied organizations. She also serves as AALL Staff Liaison to the Electronic Legal Information Access and Citation Committee, Copyright Committee and Government Relations Committee. Contact:

Emily Feldman
Emily Feldman joined the Government Relations Office as the Advocacy Communications Assistant in November 2007. Previously, she worked as Program Associate at OpenTheGovernment.org, a broad-based coalition of organizations, including AALL, that are committed to making government more open to achieve accountability, security and safety. She received a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women's Studies from the University of Rochester in 2005 and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Policy at the George Washington University.
Feldman is responsible for open government issues as well as improving our communications, outreach and advocacy with our chapters and members.
